Essential.
I wanted this name for the new collection.
Essential because, unusually for me, there aren’t bright colors or rich motifs.
Essential because the lines are simple, clean, basic.
Don’t you feel the need to get away from the noise sometimes? From the crowd, from the multitude and, as they say, to go back to the essential?
The essential, that’s sought, declaimed, sung, longed for.
I could write a lot of sentences of songs, books, texts and speeches that refer to it.
It’s something that is always there, buried by layers of useless things.
It hides and constitutes the very essence of everything. Like the mythological nymphs, divine powers that according to the Greeks embodied natural elements, places, cities, or even phenomena of various nature.
And just about a nymph I thought while I was arranging the photos of this collection.
Dressed in Korynne’s creations, on the shores of Lake Garda, there could be no one else and in no other ways to wear so perfectly the new garments.
Each dress of this shooting is made from organic and sustainable fabrics, largely made from Italian fibers.
Hemp, bamboo viscose, linen, recovered cotton cloth.
A virtual and real immersion in nature.
